Contact your Local Retailer. Only by letting food retailers know that we are unsatisfied with their inventory can we enact change. By entering just a few fields here, you can send a pre-formatted letter to your local retailer.

This is the letter that will be sent:

Dear [manager name],

My family lives and works in California and we are interested in supporting local food producers. On my last trip to your store, I was unable to find the \"100% California\" logo on any of your aisles. 100% California shows shoppers that you too support our great state, by stocking items grown, processed and manufactured here. I realize this could be an oversight. I urge you to get in touch with www.100percentCalifornia.org. They have a certification process that will help you stock products from the Golden State. Locally grown and sold products have a great effect not just on our economy, but on our environment and quality of life as well.

By becoming certified with 100percentCalifornia.org, you also gain the right to use their marketing materials in your store, increasing sales and showing you care about our state and environment. The site publicizes certified retailers through press releases and media contacts as well, so get on board!
