Some Thoughts on Local

Browsing the web in search of more information on the local food movement, I came across this site, http://knowhowitgrows.wordpress.com/ ,which is specific to Northeastern Ohio. They had a fantastic quote on the front page:
“One cannot level one’s moral lance at every evil in the universe. There are just too many of them. But you can do something, and the difference between doing something and doing nothing is everything.” –Daniel Berrigan
This summarizes what we're trying to do wonderfully. We're not picturing changing the world. Just doing something, changing ourselves. If enough of us change, then maybe the world will come along.

I love Milk

Milk is a very important drink in my home. My children love milk as well as myself. So many other things that parents are forced to provide to our children our from other countries. Why can we not get together enough to get "MILK" from our own local farmers and cows and supply it to all of our surrounding grocery stores? It's not rocket science, I think we just need a kick in the butt to wake us up...Let's support our own Californians and FARMERS...Come on California !!!
